The original building dedicated to San Giorgio dates back to before 1365, and was unfortunately destroyed by the 1976 earthquake. The current building was built starting from a first portion by the volunteers of Bergamo (L'Eco di Bergamo) and completed by the inhabitants of the hamlet of Melessons where it is located.
