At the beginning of 1576 the faithful of the Parish of Rodeano gathered in a modest-sized church, but during the following centuries various expansion works were carried out, until its new consecration in 1764.
A plaque placed on the bell tower, of more recent construction, shows an inscription in memory of the fallen of the First World War: PER CONCORDE VOLONTA' DI POPOLO/ QUEST OPERA/ INIZIATA IL 19 FEBBRAIO 1928/ INAUGURATA IL 6 DICEMBRE 1930/ SORSE/ PER RICORDARE AI POSTERI/ I GLORIOSI CADUTI/ NELLA GUERRA 1915 - 1918
