The current building is located on the fluvial terrace of the Corno river and it's surrounded by a stone wall that also surrounds the old cemetery, dates back to the 16th century and is the result of renovations and extensions of a previously existing church (dating back to the 12th-13th centuries). On the inside, several frescoes are visible. The oldest fresco (placed on the wall on the right), depicting Christ as a young man, is attributable to the 12th-13th centuries; the others, a single cycle on the counter-facade and on the walls, can be dated to the end of the 14th-beginning of the 15th century (and are attributed to the Friulian post-Vitalesca school).
